Multi-channel retailer Sears Canada has launched the ?New Baby Department? in the Kids Room at Sears in 55 stores across Canada.
Sears Canada The Kids Room vice-president Tracy Culleton said the New Baby Department is organized into five categories that are clearly signed: nursery, travel, activity, feeding and gifting.
"The signing also provides all the features and benefits of the product assortment. Another new introduction is 'take-with' inventory; when customers are shopping for cribs, strollers or car seats, Sears now stocks these in store so that they can be taken home on the same day," Culleton said.
Sears Canada network includes 196 corporate stores, 278 hometown dealer stores, 29 home services showrooms, over 1,500 catalogue and online merchandise pick-up locations, 105 Sears Travel offices and a nationwide home maintenance, repair, and installation network.
